Academic Assistant - Physical Geology Laboratory

National University of Colombia

March 2025

August 2023

Student in charge of supporting laboratory activities, helping professors in the selection and preparation of teaching materials. The main responsibilities included guiding students to achieve academic objectives, with an emphasis on the description and identification of rocks and minerals. Additionally, I contributed to laboratory logistics by organizing materials and supplies. Furthermore, I assisted in fieldwork for the installation of seismic equipment and the corresponding data collection.

Geotechnical Engineering Trainee

TODOSUELOS S.A.S

December 2024

July 2024

Intern responsible for carrying out geotechnical studies for civil works, in accordance with NSR-10. Main responsibilities included analyzing SPT tests to determine geotechnical parameters, evaluating slope stability, and designing slope stabilization using Slide. Similarly, I participated in the analysis of landslides and in contract CW297564 of 2024 with Diseños Estratégicos de Servicios Públicos for EPM, providing support in mitigating geological risks for dumps. Additionally, I developed spreadsheets for foundation and settlement calculations and implemented office tools, Python, and GIS for geotechnical data processing.

Research Assistant - GEMMA

National University of Colombia

July 2023

May 2023

Student in charge of assisting project professionals in sampling, mineral characterization, and information monitoring. Responsibilities included recording field data in digital format, conducting secondary information searches, and supporting project logistics. Additionally, I contributed to the preparation of reports and presentations with technical analysis and assisted in analyzing data collected during field campaigns, with a special focus on water resources.

Research Assistant - Rock Engineering Laboratory

National University of Colombia

October 2022

June 2022

Student in charge of supporting the technical and operational functions of the laboratory. Main responsibilities included performing uniaxial, triaxial, and strain gauge tests to evaluate the mechanical properties of geological materials. Additionally, I participated in the processing and analysis of laboratory data and in the preparation of technical and administrative reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards in the conducted tests.

Projects

SAP - Well log data analysis

Special Academic Practice focused on the analysis and interpretation of Well Log Data from the Sinu-San Jacinto Basin using Python. Multiple well log registers were processed, allowing the identification of various behaviors and geological patterns.
